Darul Uloom Miftahul Falaah

An Islamic institute of learning and Darul Iftaa on the KwaZulu-Natal south coast.

History

Darul Uloom Miftahul Falaah was founded in 1997 by Hadhrat Mufti Yacoob Vally Sahib. It began as a small Hifdh class and has since grown into an established Islamic institute serving local and international students.

The Darul Uloom is situated in Oslo Beach, Port Shepstone, in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Its programmes span Qur’aan memorisation, the Aalim Faadhil course, Qira’at Saba’a and advanced specialisation in Iftaa.

Darul Iftaa

The Darul Uloom operates a Darul Iftaa through which questions from the wider Muslim community are answered by qualified Muftis. Fataawa are published on the Darul Uloom’s official website.
